Installation

By following the steps in this guide, you can successfully install your Infinity on Linux.

The installation steps are valid for all product versions: Infinity PRO, Infinity FREE.

This installation guide is dedicated to individual users.

Minimum system requirements

Linux (x86_64)

Your CPU must support AVX/SSE instructions, you can verify that by running

$ grep -P 'avx2?|sse2?' /proc/cpuinfo

Installation on Linux

Prerequisites:

• Verify that you have the required libraries installed. Use your package manager to install any missing dependencies. Common dependencies include fuse .

Avoid installing the fuse package on Ubuntu 22.04 or later, as it may cause system issues.

Follow the steps below to successfully install your infinity engine

Download the installer based on your plan

• Download the version of Infinity from Download Center in maldec.io/dashboard/download-center

Extract your package

Navigate to the directory containing your Infinity installer, and make it executable.

• Unzip the .tar.gz

  • tar -xvzf <your_Infinity_version_>.tar.gz -C /path/to/install

• Install the .deb package

  • sudo apt install <your_Infinity_version_>.deb

Execute your Engine

• (.tar.gz)

$ cd /opt/infinity-engine/
$ INFINITYDIR=./ ./App

• (.deb)

$ sudo systemctl status infinity-engine # verify status
